I'm Sangah Lee, an associate professor of linguistics at Seoul National University. I study language model behavior, with a particular interest in how linguistic knowledge is represented internally and how those representations shape model behavior.

My current work focuses on representations & interpretability, multilinguality & latent language, and linguistic knowledge & reasoning. I approach language models primarily as objects of linguistic inquiry: not only asking whether they produce the right answer, but what they represent internally and how they arrive there.
